A wine chateau of 5000 tons will be built with the total investment of USD10 million. What’s more, 334 hectares (5000 mu) will be developed as grape cultivation base to cultivate high quality grape varieties. It is to develop, produce and sell high-class wine of dry red and dry white series. Meanwhile, it will provide a good sightseeing and entertainment spot for ecological tourism. The World Grape Sightseeing Vineyard will give full display to its commercial imaginations and embody the cultural characteristics of different countries. Cooperative mode: sole foreign-funded, JV or cooperation. The investment payoff period is predicted to be 3~5 years.

Penglai, as one of the World Seven Grape Coasts, is the largest grape planting area in China. Relying on the mountains and facing the sea, Penglai is located in East Asia of the northern temperate zone with monsoon and continental climate. The four seasons are distinctive, no chilly in winter and no extreme heat in summer. The annual frost-free period lasts for 216 days. It is one of the most ideal areas for wine-making grapes and is well known as “Bordeaux in China”. 250,000 mu of grape base has been planned on each side of Yanpeng Sightseeing Avenue to build a “Grape Corridor” as long as 18km. There are 45 winery enterprises with the annual wine production of 80,000 tons, which ranks 1st in national counties. International Grape Sightseeing Garden and International Wine Chateau can not only lay a solid foundation for the construction of Penglai Wine City, but also can further enrich the ecological sightseeing tourism.
